Blazers for Work

Have you ever struggled with putting together a professional outfit that’s also something you can move around in all day. I know I have! It feels so hard to find go-to wardrobe pieces that can instantly class up a look whether your in jeans or slacks. Today I am going to show you a few of my go-to work blazers I use and let you know why they are my favorite go-to’s.

1: The Black Blazer

Everyone needs a black blazer. It’s a staple that will always work for any event where you need to be more polished but maybe have no clue what to wear. In my opinion you can’t go wrong with a black blazer. I went on a blazer spree a few months back and basically bought all of these pictured blazers from Old Navy. Not an add, I just love how they have upped their jacket game the past few years.

A fun bold pattern that fits your style is a must for your wardrobe. When you are looking to change things up with your style a pattern can be super fun. This brown one has a lot of neutrals so that it still fits with a lot of pieces but adds a fun pop to any outfit.

Summer styles may not be in stores for long but it is still extremely hot here in California. As I type this, google says that it is currently 102 degrees outside so a linen style for the summer months is a must. I love a thin blazer because I can wear it inside when the AC is blasting and not die if I have to go outside also.

I usually pair my blazers with a dark jean, plain tee, loafer, and some accessories and am out the door for work. I have enough layers if it gets too cold and am able to look professional but feel comfortable. This in turn has allowed me to feel confident when teaching and that’s really what matters when picking pieces for your wardrobe. If you feel confident you will do an even more amazing job!
